I was wondering if I can use the high capacity battery for the phantom 4 pro in my phantom 4. I want to buy some new batteries but wasn't sure on this. Has anyone used this battery in the phantom 4?

The batteries are interchangeable between the P4 & P4P, as are the props.

No I have not used higher capacity battery in P4.

I would assume the regular batteries would be discontinued at some time the new one is more capacity for the same money isn't it?

I'm hoping they can be switched but want to make 100% sure before I buy and try them.

As mentioned, you can use the high capacity battery for P4P on P4, please do not worry about it.

It should increase the flight time.
But it also depends on the environment and the way you fly it.
