My P4 Batteries are not discharging

I set the Battery setting to 3 days, but even though I have not used my P4 for 2 weeks, they are still fully charged 4 bars.

I thought that after the 3 day limit, they should start dicharging. Do I have to do anything else for them to automatically discharge?

The timer resets every time you hit the button.

I wouldn't trust them to still be full, even if you have been resetting the timer by pressing the button every few days - see how long it takes to charge them back to full?

For safety, always give the batteries a full charge before using them.

Were you checking the batteries by pressing the power button within the first 3 days or so?

I did not press the button for about 7 days.

Upon plugging them in the P4 today, they both showed 97% charge.  So I discharged them a little bit by leaving them in the P4 for a few minutes. I also changed the discharge time to 1 day for both of them.  I will check again in a few days...I am not going to be flying any time soon, as we are having a Polar Vortex forming!

Just to clarify, were they at 97% when you initially left them, or was it closer to 100%? If everything is up to date and you are running the latest app, the discharge function should work. Please let me know if it still does not discharge on its own.
