Hello all,

Just got a new phantom 4, did 2-3 flying sessions and absolutely loving this thing. Its an out of this World tech compared to my previous toy drones.

Got some newbie questions though;

1- I have an android one phone with android 7 and its pretty fast, but after reading the forums i see people have range and video transmission problems at some point, so did i.
So i was thinking to get a more powerful tablet to go with it, as forum people say it is the cause for it. Question is, what is the required processor power and ram as well as minimum android version to run it smoothly?
In principal im against any apple products but not in a strict way

2- There are 2 applications in Google play store, which version do i have to use with Phantom 4? Dji GO or Dji GO 4? IT says 4 is for mavic ??

EDIT:
3- I love my Toshiba encore Tablet, it Works great with Windows 10. Can i use it to control my Phantom 4?

DJI GO is currently only offered for iOS or Android platforms. I'd be curious hearing from DJI if they'll ever support Windows 10+, however.

So, there is no app for Windows 10. Is there a sdk somewhere so we can write our own?

You should have Android tablet with at least snapdragon 801 processor.

Is there advantage of one over the other for a P4 (not Plus)?

I have been told that DJI GO APP is for Phantom 4 Standard and below, The DJI Go 4 APP was put out for The Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic. There is a Phantom 4 Standard Bete being tested Just for the Phantom 4 Standard  going on now.
[EDIT] Ok Now I am Confused again Just read now that the Go 4 app is for the P4 standard P4 Pro and the Mavic. Can we get somebody to difinitivly define what is for what Please.

[EDIT 3] After reading the rest of that thread I'm sticking with th DJI Go APP. Tell ya the truth i don't know what is right and what is wrong anymore.
