I've been looking for hours on the net for this answer, but I had no luck. Althought one guy said 1500 feet max between Waypoints and another one said 2000 feet. I have one set at 1.3 mile that I was going to test today. But I decided to throw this question out first in case someone knows why it won't work. You would think the Mission Hub or the Litchi Android App would warn you or something if it was too far apart. I even made a 5 mile one in the Mission Hub and it didn't even care. Nope I don't plan on running that one. lol

I'd imagine you could set one halfway around the world and it would still try to go there. It's just a heading and an endpoint. The only thing that will interrupt the flight is low battery.

2000m is 1.24 miles (or 6561 feet). Hmm... ok, well I guess I have to insert Waypoints for those 1.3 mile ones.
