I have flew my p4p with a p4 battery yesterday. When the battery at arround 14% an warning came up and say critical low power, aircraft landing. When this happen it was 150 meters away. However I managed to flew it back without crash, after that I have been told from a dji staff saying that they wouldn't suggest to fly the p4 battery on the p4p. Has anyone experience that before, I set the force landing at 10%. When the warning came up the voltage is 3.55v

I hope that's not the case as I bought 6 P4 batteries at the direction of DJI Support as the standard P4P batteries I can't find!  I have flown all of them without issue but I normally land between 25-30% remaining

Yeah I have read your post too, i never really had that problem before, only when I try to push it capacity yeaterday, the dji staff told me that p4 battery is comptiable but not suggested to use on P4P. I have Google about this and ppl with p3a has that problem before too, all I supposed to do is push throttle all the way up and that allow the drone to keep altitude rather down going down so you can try you best to land safety.

Similar situation for p3a:http://forum.dji.com/thread-55489-1-1.html however none p4 or p4p owners have reported that problem before, I did flew it with sport mode at low level, as long as this is normal behaviour and not trying to land if I am flying sport mode at above 20% battery. Hope to hear from a dji repsentative to  say that is normal. So I can continue to use the p4 battery with confidence

You really are pushing your luck if you fly as low as 14% capacity. I never get down that low, it is far too risky.

Yeah after yesterday I will never fly it that low again.i just released I have flew the p4 battery on p4p for 24mins.

Your force landing is at 10% but the aircraft also consider the distance to you and the further away you fly, the earlier it will return to you, so it can make it back all the way. This is something good, i don't see your problem.

Agreed. It was doing what it's designed to do.

As long as th battery recharges you can keep using, I've taken batteries down to zero multiple times with no ill effects.

Cool, by the way i flew both p4p battery and p4 battery, no warning appear. All good.

As others have mentioned, you most likely have Smart RTH enabled, which can make the unit come back sooner if it gets farther away.
