Hi all.

I´m the happy owner and new to the P3P so i need some help with an issue i experience.
I´ve been trying to learn to fly my new drone and yesterday it prompted me before take off to update both the controller and my P3P.

S i read through the guideline on how to do this an it appears fairly simple.
Updated the controller with no issue, then went to update the aircraft. The update took forever and it failed in the end.
Upon restarting the aircraft all i got was error beeps from it and no indicator lights at all.

Then i tried to DL the FW again tried several times. Finally it seems like it was updating. However, now i have problems with it loosing connection to the remote and the image is flickering constantly.
Also when i look at the battery info in the GO app it looses the info and the it comes back online again.

Is there a way to force the FW upgrade again to ensure that its updated correct and how do i update the batteries?
I tried to do the same process on each battery but it seems that they are updated which is strange.
Looking forward to you help and inputs.

BR

Maybe you can try to relink your remote using dji go app to your p3p.

Did you update the firmware on the drone itself by downloading the .zip file from the DJI website and then extracting the .bin firmware update file, putting it in the root directory of the memory card and then turning the drone on with the memory card in and the remote control (RC) turned off and letting it go through the update process?

Have you tried re-linking the drone to the RC? this may solve your connectivity problems - you can do this through the DJI Go App.

Make sure you remove the upgrade file you put on your SD card before trying to restart. Sounds like you did, but thought I'd throw it out there. Good luck!

Hi all.
Thanks for your quick reply.
I just tried to re-link at you mention and i also double checked that the .bin file is removed on the SD however it´s exactly the same result.
Please see this video to see how I experience it.Sorry about the sound

what is your current DJI Go app version and RC version?
If your RC current version is running on V1.8.0 then i advice you downgrade it to V1.6.0

Everything should be upgraded with the newest fw.

App: 3.1.1
Version: 1.10.90
RC: 1.8.0

I guess these should be the correct versions right? Maybe the newest one are "buggy"?Btw. Can´t find rev. 1.6 online. only rev. 1.8 & 1.9. Also i don´t see a guide on how to dowgrade the fw. Is it just the same way as when i upgrade?

I have put the video to guide you how to downgrade your RC 1.8.0 to 1.6.0
You just follow the video step then you will get 1.6.0 RC firmware.

Thanks, will try that out now.

To be sure, the aircraft shall still be rev. 1.10.90 right? It´s only the RC that i´m downgrading if I understand you correctly.

Once you upgraded to V1.10.90 and you can't downgrade it, DJI already mentioned on the thread post.
You only can downgrade the RC and dji go app....

So I finally finished the downgrade of RC and so far it seems to have worked.
At least when testing inside my house.

Will test tomorrow outside if the weather allows it.
Thank you very much. I'll keep you posted.

I had this same problem.  Two things seemed to eliminate the pixel-ating.  Waiting till both the RC and the Bird were turned on before plugging the cable in to the iPad mini and turning off wi-fi.
