Has anyone heard anything regarding "ground station" for our Inspires? It seems crazy that the much lower priced Phantom offers it but the higher priced Inspire does not. Hopefully DJI will work this feature into the firmware at some point in the near furture.
I asked DJI on their chat if the Inspire 1 was going to have ground station and if so when?
They emailed me Sunday 2/16/2015 the following:

For the ground station function in inspire 1 we are now testing and will open soon, but do not know the exact date, but it will available in the future.

There was a delay in between the launch of the Phantom series and the release of Ground Station. I am sure that the same thing will happen with the Inspire 1. What I am hoping for is increased functionality when the Inspire 1 version is released... The ability to control the camera in all directions as well as to pause and resume automatic flight would be brilliant!
What I am more interested in right now is full IOC functionality....
