I lent my P3A to a friend who is now claiming that he is receiving an ESC status error. He claims he did nothing but try to start the drone. Is there some data on the drone that can be accessed that would indicate the cause of the ESC error - whether he caused it or was it already present when I gave him the drone? Will it indicate if he tried to fly it, tried to update the firmware, or incorrectly installed the prop guards, which then caused the error?

Could you please clarify your current firmware version? Did you update the firmware to latest version before?

The drone had firmware of about six months ago on it. I downloaded the latest firmware as of a week ago and put it on the SD card that was in the drone, but the version installed on the drone was from about 6 months ago (unless my friend updated the firmware upon receiving the drone several days ago

I just updated mine to the 1 .10 .9 or latest as of 12/29/2016 got the now motors will not start get message too
