I had a ton of fun following the Mavic Pro shipping vigil.

I ordered around 5 am PST the morning after the Inspire 2 pre-orders opened up.

They pulled the money out of my account last week but shipping on the order tracking page still says pending.

No combo, just camera, aircraft and batteries.

I noticed a bunch of people reselling the Mavic Pro due to lack of supply into the US. Is reselling frowned upon?

On the same boat here. Ordered exactly same I2 stuff as you. The non-combo shipping estimate says 6-10 weeks after payment. Man I hope that's just DJI playing it safe with estimates.

the only orders shipping this month (year) will be the combo orders. They charged your card based on their policy of charging on the 28th day after authorization if they haven't shipped yet. (paypal, and probably cc authorizations are only good for a month, I hear). DJI announced that they would begin shipping combo orders this week, although I haven't seen a post anywhere saying someone had received a notification or a package yet. So either Drone santa is going to be dropping them down chimneys on saturday night, or...he's not.

I'll be happy with a beginning of Jan. shipping at this point. Beats the heck out of the 6-10 week you see on the site.

Just had a chat with a DJI sales support agent and he quoted me a 3rd week of February delivery. Straight from the horse's mouth!. So I guess the were not kidding with the 6-10 week thing.

Beginning to wish I had ordered a combo.

They're now shipping the combo in 1-3 buss days.

Do you guys think the Inspire 2 will have resale value anything like the Mavic Pro has had?

INO... no I do not think so.  Wrong price range and production numbers vs orders will most likely be different than the Mavic Pro (entry level drone).
