very impressive....but hurts to watch one get purposely destroyed when I still haven't gotten mine yet....

Regret watching as far as I did and giving those guys a view hit; I'll never get those 6 minutes back.

Yeah, totally unpractical video. What a waste these yahoo's go through trying to get views on Youtube and waste their unearned money. The water test with squirt guns may be unealistic as rainfall would hit the drone at a much different angle, force, etc. but amazing how the damn thing kept flying perfectly in place. It seemed like he intentionally crashed it just to get it to go down with VPS off (my guess).

I don't see the entertainment value in this - totally ridiculous!

Stop drone abuse... this is painfull to watch.  That Mavic will go to drone heaven.

I would have assumed that with an AP platform the weakness is always with the gimbal.  I mean, it's a precision instrument.

It's a bit like having a bonsai tree strapped the the front of a tank.  The weak point is a bit obvious, so I'm not sure what the 'testing' taught me.  That fragile precision instrument is what gives us the amazing visuals.

I agree. But also i feel many people here missed the point of the video. Watch it all the way to the end. DigitalRev is a highly respected review channel with a emphasis on high end photography. According to them, the mavic is the best drone they've ever flown, and this video proves their point that is not a cheaply manufactured product.

All that abuse was so painful to watch. I really didn't expect the Mavic to survive the barbecue (being burned alive).  This really shows how well the Mavic in engineered. Very impressive!
