Is there a way that you can recieve audible alerts from this forum if someone replies toyour question or pm you?

Yes, just open the forum and go up and down the pages...
When you see a reply, click on it. Haha

If you reply to a post, and others quote your reply, you will get a notification under your tiny avatar top right corner.
But if they only post a reply, you may not get that reminder. It's finicky.

I think the only place to look is with your own browser and sound settings to see if you have that option. I can pass along the feedback to see if anything can be added on our end, but the notifications here are more visual than audio friendly.

The only indication that I am aware of is the red dot that appears beside your avatar at top right of page when somebody has replied directly to one of your posts.
Left clicking on this avatar and click on 'remind' in drop down menu lists in red the posts with direct replies.

Mmmm...sound alert that would annoy the sh.. out of me.

You can add them intrusive Push Notifications to that annoyment category, for me. Ha
