Go 4 works perfectly on my Huawei Mediapad M2, and on my Huawei P8 Lite phone.
Did you enable USB debugging ?

Have you tried to reinstall the DJI GO app? What's the current DJI GO version you are using?

Hey Harbourside, I was thinking about getting the M2 or X2 - was just keen to know if you are seeing any lag at all on the video stream? I have a Tab A7 and its laggy as hell, so was hoping the M2 or X2 would solve that. Cheers

I don't use the M2 for flying, just for messing around in the app, firmware updates and viewing flight records once synced.
So I cant say If it will be laggy in flight, but it seems powerful.
