Got a new phantom 4 today but the drone will not power up.   Watched all  tutorials and read manual.   I get 4 lights and battery will turn on.    Charged up fine.    Put into drone and turn on battery but nothing  happens with the drone.   Any suggestions?   Going to take it back to  Best Buy tomorrow and get money back I guess.

You may have a dead drone, but you also wouldn't be the first person to have problems with the way you turn on the drone, short press and release then press and hold while the lights turn on one by one...

Yes, it's a double press/click & hold the power button in for three seconds or so.

Single click only shows relative battery charge.

Double Press and Hold to shut it done s well. ;-)

RTFM? & Again.  Rinse and repeat... Ha

I can get the battery to turn on and off just fine, one short click and then one longer click as all four light turn on.   Just frustrating, I would think DJI would test these things before they send them out.  Flew a friends drone and was able to turn it on and off no problem.

Then of course you are doing the CSC. To fire it up...

Pulling both RC control sticks down and in at the bottom to start the motors?
Following the normal procedure to fly... ;-)

The drone zero power.   No lights, no startup process, nothing at all.

Do you have another battery to have a test?
