The initial idea was to film around some deralict storage units and get a full color cinematic feel but I messed the settings on the Mavic so used some Black and White and managed to salvage this short edit.

Did you post parts of this video here before? I feel like I've seen some of these shots.

No, this is the first time I've filmed in this area.

Nice one. B&W works great here. Sometimes we get the best results when we mess up something.

Nice confidence in dropping the Mavic through that hole in the roof. Any issues there or was it completely stable in enough to descend without any corrections?

Hi Mike, I actually flew the Mavic out the roof and reversed the shot. A friend of mine was spotting the angle inside to make sure I didn't catch it on the way out though. That in itself was a scary moment!

Hi It was filmed in 3840x2160 at 24fps. I used Cinelike and set the Custom style to -2-2-2. The white balance was set to cloudy. Hope that helps.

Hi, All the footage was taken with the drone being flown. The interior sweeps were done using the tripod mode as this really does make for some steady shots. Thanks for your comments

Really impressive.  More like using a drone as a photography tool than to get typical 'drone shots'

What's also really cool about this to me is that almost none of the shots in the clip have any yaw in them.  If fact it gives the video a very interesting look IMO

0:34 - 0:40 is the only clip that has a lot of yaw, and for that very reason it almost looks out of place with the rest of the footage.

Honestly one of the coolest drone videos I've seen.  I just watched it again, just because  

When you flew through the window how did you keep the drone from rising up when the sensors on the bottom of the drone see the window sill? Guessing you have the VPS system on when flying inside? Is there a setting to allow this flying through windows without the drone going up?

Great video BTW.

The opening scene was shot with the Mavic leaving the building and I reversed the film to make it look like your heading in to it. I didn't turn off the sensors. There was a chance the front sensors may have picked up on the opening on the way out but fortunately it didn't move it and spoil the shot. Thanks for your Comments

I lost a  Phantom 3 std on a steel bridge, signal just went away and it tumbled into the Swanee river in North Fl.  How was the signal in and out of the building?

Nice work just wish I had an artistic eye to create like this .

Hi, The signal on this drone seems to be far more stable with the new DJI technology in comparison to my Phantom 3. The signal was fine and I flew out the building with good elevation no problem at all.

Amazing video :-) I do agree a bit that different yawing speeds could be a bit off in the picture but you'll for sure want to have also this quick sweep effect - especially in a creepy place :-D Anyhow - thanks for sharing, it was a pleasure to watch (and add to my favourites).
