My company was throwing out a bunch of old Ipad cases that were never used, so I took a few and converted one into a pretty decent mount for the RC. Flown with it once and it worked real well.  Just need to get a shorter lightning cable.  The cases are faux leather over a foam/fiberboard that a utility knife easily cuts away the sides. I then used duct tape and eletrical tape to clean it up.
