I'm starting to learn the features on my p4 regarding obstacle avoidance.  I'm interested to know, if I'm doing low flying and reducing altitude to get a sense of speed swooping over the ground, is there any feature to stop the craft hitting the ground whilst flying low? ie, does it have a minimum altitude whilst moving?

There is always going to be a margin for error, even under perfect conditions.  Prudence is called for in this case.

A shame.  She makes a nice ground cushion.  I have one myself.

Sorry to ignore you, but no, the aircraft does not have any ground collision avoidance. And it can vary in height quite a bit when flying, so you need to be very careful.

Thank you all for the comments. Prudence was always the plan, I was just preparing for how the aircraft might react when it gets close to ground level whilst moving. Might be a nice feature though one day, i.e. Don't go to ground level whilst moving horizontally.
