I noticed the NEW Osmo Mobile Silver has a few extra features. Will these added features be available on the original Black Osmo Mobile either with a firmware upgrade or Go app change? Is the hardware identical other than color?

Based on CS replied, all feature same as black model.

Also the battery life - how are they getting 4.5 hours out of the silver Osmo?  Is an upgrade to the firmware going to get the black Osmo's the same time?

Osmo beautify is in the app, it works with the black Osmo.  I don't know if Filmic works with it though, I haven't tried.

Osmo beautify is in the app, it works with the black Osmo.  I don't know if Filmic works with it though, I haven't tried.

Filmic no longer support AGC options.  So you can't turn off Automatic Gain Control for the microphone.  It really helps remove that nasty hiss.  I wish DJI would enable this.

I've just bought the original, black, Osmo Mobile yesterday and can confirm that beautify works fine with it.  It's an app thing not a hardware thing.  Though that doesn't answer the question as to why they won't allow Active Track with the original Osmo, as that too is an app thing not a hardware thing.  DJI?

Do you have a link for the new battery? the only ones im seeing are ~900 and ~1220 mAh

That's the link for the new high capacity batteries, which are the ~1220mAh that you mentioned.

I thought they introduced an even higher capacity, the 1220's have been around for a while now. Thanks!
