Phillips #000 or #00 will work fine.  The #00 will be a the best fit IMO Sorry do know what the replacement screw would be.. thought you were looking for the best screwdriver.  You might need to buy a replacement mount kit to get that part sorry to say.

funny...

The problem is the tread pitch could be anything. I noticed that most metric screws used in camera's or drones are not a consistent even number. 1.2 mm, 1.1mm  or 1.4mm  This could be tough to find without DJI telling us the screw size

I would take the other one out that he still does have and the measure it with a dial caliper .  I do agree with you that if DJI could provide the specs, that would be great.

Yes, if you could find some hobby store that carries spare screws. I have a huge supply of helicopter screws from many brands which none are the same

but at least the sizes are listed by the manufacture. It would be nice if DJI did the same for all of there drones too.

Hi Richard,

If you only need the one screw, I can spare one and would be happy to post it to you. Just PM me your address and I'll stick it in an envelope for you. I'm in the UK so could have it to you in a day or two.

Hi Mark

I've seen I can get them online. This is the part I really need to try and find as the screw has sheared off in it and can't get it out.

Check this out on eBay for parts

Mate you would be a life saver if you have.

I have a few spare parts from DJI of this sort. PM me if Rich hasn't. I can email you the part. They cost like USD 2 for the rubber and two screws.

Thanks Mike. It's the top part f the gimbal that is really needed and then I can get the new screws and rubber piece

The part you need is listed on this page http://www.helipal.com/multi-rot ... _dji-inspire-1.html
You might want to order other goodies from them. Best use the original parts.

Hi Mike. I can see the rubber gasket and screws on there but it's the bit that this sits on I need, Pic above. Cannot see that on the website

Uh-oh - looks like you have deal with DJI directly on this matter. How did this damage occur?

PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post with a couple of screws

Argh! I'm so sorry Richard. It's all I had in my parts box and I didn't realise there was a difference - I have X3, X5 and X5R parts in there.

It looks from your description as though the X3 uses 3 screws through that part to the yaw gimbal, whereas the X5 and X5R use a spacer plate, held on by four bolts into the bottom of it. I'd thought this was X2 but clearly it's not and there's an important difference in the mounting
