Some new products from dji but no price yet for crystalsky.

Some neat stuff, for sure.  But these are just stock pictures and I see NO GOGGLES too.  The DJI Goggles are a myth!

No word on goggles, but just having a look at ground station looks fairly substantial only available on iOS iPad .

They will release soon I think.

No, but it shouldn't be long.

to me it looks like even if you get the small crystalsky it wan't be able to slip into the mavic controller because the buttons on the side won't be accessible.  You would have to buy a aftermarket tablet holder.

Well they say you can use with the Mavic, so they must have something up there sleeve. It looks like a great product also takes care of having to use your phones.

Would that new Ground Station app run on an iPhone or strictly iPad?  An iPad Mini 4 is probably in my future?  Or is there something else?

Not to sure what you mean about Ken?

Don't think it will work on phone, you will be fine with mini 4 iOS 8 or later.

A question Ken regarding P4P. My RC is running down twice as quickly as my P4 before as its now charging my iPad pro 9.7". Is there any way round stopping this happening as I don't want my RC stripped of it charge ?

I use iPad Pro 9.7 I don't have this problem, how fast is it running down.

Looks like CrystalSky comes in a 5.5 inch version for the Mavic. Looks like an excellent option for the Mavic.

Yes that's my plan it's a bit of a pain having to use my phone, was thinking of getting a dedicated iPod but will hold out and see , hope it goes on sale soon..

The Ground Station Pro is currently only IOS.
I've been using it for a while now and it's pretty cool.

I thought I gave you instructions last night, maybe it was someone else.
Power up the RC/iPad and see the percentages in both, then check them 20 minutes later and tell me what they were before and after.

I haven't played around with thee monitors yet, but when I flew the P4P+, I was in direct sunlight and the screen was totally clear and bright. It was awesome.
I can't wait to get my hands on one of these monitors.

Its really simple its not!  Obviously it would not fit in the mavic's current device holder but i would likey think DJI will come up with an optional mounting assembly or some way of attaching and connecting to it.
Crystal sky can't wait for it to be released.

Would the CrystalSky combined with standard hdmi-enabled FPV goggles be a good option for low-latency FPV flying in HD?

I'm currently using Litchi, but can only do it in non-HD as HD would lag way too much to fly the Mavic properly.

So DJI-Ken...If we are having issues with the HDMI mod on the remote of the P4/P4P with the display going black/blank/green, etc. then the "goggles" would be the next item to use in place of the HDMI mod?  You say they are working on it...looks like we all need to be patient....UGH, some of us are not patient people...lol

So with this product, no phone or tablet is needed?  This monitor has a processor chip/board for GPS, WIFI, Storage etc?

Yes your correct, it will save a lot of hassle and can just be dedicated to your aircraft, might be a price to pay will have to wait and see..
