Hello friends,

I have ordered a replacement camera assembly for my P3A.

I know the installation is straightforward, but I wonder if there may be any issues around the firmware on the new camera not matching what I have currently installed on the phantom. This is assumimg FW is stored on both the gimbal cpu board and the main board inside the phantom itself.

Do I just boot the phantom with the latest FW on the SD card to ensure everything matches?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Just an update. I have installed my replacement camera with no issues. Now, I just need a "that was easy" button =)

That'll be the button right next to the 'What happened to the previous camera ?' button

Haha! It experienced the misfortune of a high voltage power line.

I replaced the yaw arm in the gimbal. I need to source a flat ribbon cable, and I can fix that one for a backup.
