To learn the specific behaviour of my Mavic Pro when using the tracking options (and to prevent faulty footage/pilot-error Mavic-crashes) I did some experiments by tracking my car. Everything works fine if distance to the tracked object is sufficient (15-20m horizontal, 4-5m vertical) and speed does not exceed 30km/h.  Above these parameters Mavic would still work in (profile-)tracking at sufficient distance but - as You can see in the video - fast speed changes lead to yaw/roll/tilt reactions that exceed gimbal-compensation and make the rotors visible in the recorded footage. When too close to the object and/or circling the object too close, the Mavic might "shoot" over the object and then inrecoverably lose it.

All in all - when used within it´s technical limits - this drone is a real engineering and reliable masterpiece opening incredible possibilities of recording memories for hobbyist and semi-professional. Thank You DJI.
