My VPS measurement either has a (?) or says anywhere from 10 - 0.3 ft, fluctuating constantly, and as a result any time I descend, the craft lowers the landing gear regardless of altitude. I can raise them again, and it will do the same thing again upon descent immediately. Which also makes my descent speed max around 0.7mph to 1mph, with rare instances of full speed descent, which obviously is intensely irritating.

Any ideas? It didnt do this the first time I flew it, but did it every time today, my 2nd and 3rd time out with it.  It is cold here (15-30 degrees).

Hello, did you get any error message from DJI GO app?
Could you please clarify your current firmware version?

I get an error when I turn it on that states:  "Forward Obstacle Sensor Not working,  Gear lowered. Exit obstacle sensing."
No errors tied to the circumstances of my original post however.

This is not an issue, Obstacle sensing will be enabled automatically when the landing gear raises up.

Sorry for the late reply, could you please clarify were you flying at -15 to -30 degrees?
