It seems ever since I sent my P3 in for repair the video record button is finicky.
Everything about the repair has been awesome other than this one thing.
I cannot seem to figure out what's going on with it.
I have to press it multiple times to get the recording started and stopped.
I've tried all kinds of configurations or presses, short followed by a long, single long, short jab.
Gets on my nerves at times when timing to capture something is feeling critical.
Used to work great with a single press. Could the firmware have been upgraded during the repair and changed the way you use the button?
Any ideas?

Sounds like a dirty switch, try using compressed air to clean the switch.

Hmm silly me, should have thought of that too.
Thanks, I'll give it a try and let you know how it works out.
Probably only be on the weekend though, only time I have to fly.

Couldn't wait, tested it out with some canned computer air I had kicking around.
Tested out the button functionality in the house.
Big improvement, single push now starts and stops, the stop has a slight delay to it, but it stops with one press. Need to get a fresh can and really give it a blast.
