Great video footage. Nice wipe out about half way through ;-)

I assume that the considerable crosswind caused the slight slope on the horizon at times? Is there any auto adjustment for this?

Hi,  yes,  I think it was too windy for the Mavic to handle and aligned the horizon,  it was over 20 knots of wind.

There is an adjustment for the Gimbal Roll,  I didn't try it, but I think the Mavic was in angle difficult to adjust,  the drone itself was hovering with too much tilt in order for the gimbal to fully adjust.

Great video, thanks for sharing.  Were you getting high wind warnings on your display?

Hi, Yes,  all the time.  They start very early, sometimes with low 10 knots winds.

So far I have use the drone in 10-18 knts of winds with no problems,  warning on screen all the time.  This time with more than 20 knts is the first time I see the drone having a difficult time hovering,  also try to fly directly to the wind and was only getting 2-4 mph speeds.

O.k. thank you.  I'm still a very nervous flyer.  Anytime I get a wind warning I panic and bring the Mavic home immediately.  It was good to see your video and hear that you flew in moderate winds.  Next time I get a high wind warning I will try not to panic from now on.

Im cursious on what would happen to the mavic on really heavy wind.
I thing the low profile of the ship can make it withstand heavy winds of course even if not recommended at all.

It seemed to cope pretty well, it was really only the horizon that gave it away in any major way.
