Is there an option to get juice from a powerbank? I don't like the idea of having just a 40/50 min in one go. Another thing is sometimes I go to place where I can't charge for a 2 or 3 days like I am planning to go to Marocco this February and I will do a 3 day journey through the sahara, I won't have a place to charge for atleast two days and I am not going to buy 10 batteries (too expensive and too much space).

You'll need more batteries to use it but the External Battery Extender is useful and would definitely help you get more life out of your Osmo+.

Wouldn't a 12V powerbank do? How would I connect it with the osmo? (Perhaps through the battery extender?)

The battery extender is actually a 11.1v DC regulator, it can take 12-26.1v but you will need at least 2 amps.

I use this kit, you can buy the battery with a smaller solar panel, but this works great when you can't get to a plug.

Can someone explain why the Osmo cable can charge via a usb cable into regular home outlet, but that same usb cable can't go into a mobile charger? I bet there's an easy good explanation...I am somewhat new to this.
