According to UAV ACADAMY who are offering assistance to those caught up in this unfortunate event.Contact with EURO USC at this point in time via telephone email is not possible along with their web site .Probable reason is loss of cetification.Who knows?

I believe its loss of CAA certification as a qualified entity.Would help many if an official statement was made for those caught up in the middle of attaining their PFCO.

Oh, well maybe they got shut down by the federales?

There are a lot of companies that try and take advantage, with them over anxious customers.

I heard, just today, of a family getting billed (bilked) an extra $100.00 in cremation fees for, get this, "Carbon Tax"!!

Surely if the guy was a vegetarian he would have been entitled to Carbon Credits ?

Ah yes, that was an inevitability in my opinion. Drones are the new dotcom investments these days, you would have to be a mug to order something sight unseen. I reckon these will be next: http://www.ehang.com/

Hard to imagine a funeral parlour being so unkind at a most difficult time for most families.

So the drone pilot school is still open, but not accepting any more new student pilots?  ;-)

I just checked that out, there might have been a time and a place, Interesting point is that a US purchase is quoting 'shipping' charges of $100-$300 depending on location .
Also they have a "you break it we fix it" policy which covers all damage during first year , but only in Mexico, Canada & USA. That alone would probably bankrupt them.
Not much chance of selling in Europe then, or anywhere else for that matter...

I read on another board that the Lily drone company shut its doors after collecting $34 million in pre-sales from anxious customers.  They say refunds will be issued in the next 60 days. interested to see if that actually happens.  The press release said they did not have the operating expenses to unlock their inventory from the manufacturer, or something to that effect.

It amazes me that all those people paid for a product that did not exist at the time, for which there were no reviews and from a companty that had no track record in building drones.

It just proves the old adage that there is one born every minute.
