Have you tried calibrating the gimbal? I had the same problem and just a simple calibration fixed it.

If you have FW 1.3 good luck getting it to calibrate. Seems to be a bug in FW when it comes to the gimbal, overload errors and will not calibrate.

First of all, you should spread all wings before turning the AC on. Also try elevating the AC so the Gimbal has little bit more space between the floor and the Gimbal and do automatic Gimbal calibration.

@ePetLicensing.c I don't think spreading wings makes difference on initial test.
Gimbal has enough space to move, in fact it has problem only on horizontal axis.

No, it does not make any difference lol My mavic takes off just fine without unfolding the propellers first

my Mavic is doing this exact same thing except it goes back and forth at least 4 times before it finally stops and then it repeats it again 30-45 seconds later. I tried calibrating the gimbal but i keep getting a failed calibration issue because the camera still keeps moving.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? This only happened when i upgraded the software upgrade.

I've just tried to calibrate the IMU and then the gimbal, but nothing to do.
it always shows "gimbal overloaded".

I have also tried to update the latest firmware (01.03.0500) but nothing changed.

so, what do I have to do?

Since you have tried all basic troubleshooting, I'd suggest you to send it in for further diagnosis and repair. You can get in touch with our tech support at support.eu@dji.com.

I have the same problem with "Gimbal Overload". A quick fix should work if you hold the mavic on its side and start up. The Gimbal settles quickly and no errors shown. Hope it lasts

Further to this though. I think DJI should do the decent thing and "Recall" all drones and fix the problem which clearly is a manufacturer fault. ???
