Question for those using Autopilot app..Im reading through the flight school tutorial and I think im overthinking something.Ive come across "altitude priority" setting and it allows you to set it from around 15 ft to 100 or whatever it is.. Im just trying to wrap my head around what altitude priority is.

Lets say I have a waypoint set up and waypoint 1 is 200 ft away from the home point.I have waypoint 1 set at 300 ft... Does altitude priority mean it will first get to a height that I set altitude priority at before it starts heading to the first waypoint?If I set it at 15 ft does it mean the mavic will rise straight up to atleast 285 before heading to waypoint 1????

Or am I totally off..... I dont want to hit a tree if this is what that setting is..I know I can manual take off and not worry but I still want to have a concrete definition of altitude priority.Thanks
