I tried to remove the factory lens on the camera and it just won't come off. I've applied a little force but not too much out of fear that I would break the gimbal do any of you guys have some tips or tricks to get it off without causing damage so I can use my filter So?

It's not the lens you are trying to remove.  It's a UV filter.

Use a wide elastic band, like on a bunch of broccoli to carefully grip and remove it.

Less pressure is more in this case, as if you squeeze too tight, will only make it more difficult.

Actually it still lives lol. I just wrapped one of the fingers around it. I also figured out that the nd4 filter will not fit in the gimbal guard.

Right on. Haha

It's better to smile at adverse situations than exasperate the condition even more....

Wish we could all be this satisfied and content with our drones. The way it was always meant to be. Ha

Just take it easy when fitting, the threads are very delicate, I put a tiny dab of petroleum jelly on my threads, and that has helped when changing them about.

I bought a polar pro gimbal clamp and it fits all the filters, and it soooooo much easier to put on compared to the DJI gimbal clamp.

We probably don't get most of the good news/happy drone endings written about here. It's primarily how bad it has been.. All of the negatives. Sometimes it's a simple thing, others, much more complex.

It's fun problem solving... ;-)
