I wish that DJI had some form of buy back program for people who wish to turn in their outdated DJI Products towards purchasing new DJI products. I think that this could be a very successful program for DJI who could then refurbish each returned item and sell again. Maybe I can dream a little but I see a lot of possible positive outcomes from something like this.
For instance: I would really love to trade in my perfect condition Phantom 3 Professional + All extra batteries and accessories towards a new Phantom 4 Pro and pay the difference - They can then check out the product and relist / sell in their refurbished section of the store. It's a win win for both of us really
I would love to know what everyone else thinks about this possible concept.
Thank you. Especially since they're already setup to sell refurbished products in their store. I would assume that's at least half the battle - and already in place.

Makes sense to me too. Like a car dealer, take the old one in, pick the new one up knowing your paying more than privately selling for convienence.
Exactly. I am sure they have a nice financial department that can crunch the numbers and determine a fair ratio / price / difference / value for used product possibly based on condition.
It probably wouldn't take too much to expand on that.
Yeah, they seem to be adding services / improving things where they can. The forum expands, they have that DJI Care thing now... They already have the refurb items so seems like a lot already in place to support something like that anyway.
Maybe. But I think that's hard to assume without DJI having some kind of buy back program and rate in place. I wouldn't want to buy my DJI products on ebay. Thanks for the tip. Just gonna hold on to my P3P for awhile and enjoy it as much as I can.

Mmmhh, you can get a P3S refurbished for 499€ at DJI and a brandnew one on amazon prime for 490€.
Doesn't sound like a brilliant business model to me.
Lol. Yeah, that doesn't make much sense at all. Why pay more right.
Yes, it was cradled in bubble wrap & open cell foam for the ride to the park, where we flew it only 22M...
Gently cleaned upon return, with baby wipes and sterile cotton balls.
Yeah, and thanks for your ongoing service, the cheque is in the snail mail. Haha
