I have a Samsung S6 Edge Plus and I have some issues with the mount on the RC.  I wish the top clamp came down more so you could use the bottom clamp since it's wider than the two flip out holders.  My problem is that I have a case on my S6 for protection and it doesn't fit well due to the thickness.  I want to get a hood but I'm afraid with the extra space behind the phone will cause the clamps to not have enough room to be able to grab onto the phone with the case on it (pain to take it off and when I do, I'll probably drop it).

I've thought about some plexyglass attachments to the holder but I don't want to jury rig this and take away from the good looks of the RC.  I don't want to glue the plexyglass on and if I use industrial velcro I don't want to take the chance of pulling off the stock rubber on the top calmp.

Has anyone done somthing for this situation and have any suggestions?
