If your PC can't read it, then it is indeed fried, and nothing can recover it.

Send it back to the manufacturer and request a replacement... ;-)

Thanks, I figured it was history, it was a good spark and stung a bit.   Luckily all that was on the card was a test I'd just done in the garage, but it was a 64 gig fast card

It sucks when it's a nice SD card, but it's good that it was the only casualty.
