Impressive to say the least. Nice to see Mavic's turning out such amazing footage. Well done.

Excellent video. Which NDs did you use for this (6, 8)? Also, would you be willing to share you video settings (format, FPV...)? I live in Colorado, just got my Taco filters and would like to shoot so snow. Thx in advance!

This trip I was shooting in 9F. I have a video where I was shooting at -20F. It gets cold when it is clear here.

This one I had the ND8 on the camera. That was perfect for the light when we first started out. As the sun came up further, I wished I would have swapped out to the ND16 or 32 but my fingers were frozen just trying to get the gimbal protector off. I was shooting 4K 24FPS . Before the sun hit the snow 1/50th of a sec, after....up to 1/500th of a sec

You got a good unit. I heard people having the jello issue at lower temperatures. Did you have your gimbal protector on, or a gimbal hood?

Thanks for sharing the info! Really enjoyed the video, look forward to seeing more! Looks like the Taco filters did a great job, glad I purchased them.

Probably did not use an iPhone as a controller... mine dies after 30 seconds in such cold.

Interesting use of ND filters - didn't really think that these would be necessary, but I noticed during some snow filming, that the Mavic camera indeed has some issues with strong light. Maybe I should try that out...

Glad to hear that the S7 battery last. Was using an S6 that just bit the dust and they replaced it with an S7 last night, have not tried it with the Mavic yet. Anything to be concerned about, or, aware of? S6 worked good, the battery life was just brutal!

Batteries are working fine in the cold. I stayed up 17 mins, battery was at 18% when I landed. Longer than my hands can last.

I chose to take the gimbal protector off. I was worried about it at first since I am taking off in the snow, but it is doing great.

I have been using the S7 since day one with no problems. I tried my backup phone S3 for a test and it could not keep up with the video stream.

I flew this morning, it worked great, battery lasts ALLOT longer than my S6 did.
