On two occasions now when I flipped the switch from P to F mode the menu for Intellligent flight modes did not appear. Instead there was a tiny little (settings * ) icon on the right, tried to click it but nothing happened. checked all my other settings. Does anyone know what this means ?
FYI. Go App ver 2.9.10

You have to be in  the air for it to activate.

Yes, the drone needs to be flying to access autonomous flight modes.

You "might" be able to use them in the SIM, while being grounded. ;-)

yes, they do work in the sim, but only when the sim thinks u r flying... same as in the "real world".. make sure u know to push back to P mode if anything weird happens and u want to abort intelligent flight mode....
The controls in intelligent modes do not always act as you'd expect, so certainly test in the sim until u really understand what's going on...
