So you are able to apply effects, enhancement, speed/ reverse etc and still have real time 'preview' without any lags or freezing up at all?
Do you have a laptop or desktop computer? Was this custom build? Anyway you could provide a link to the computer if possible?
You can have real time preview, but only if you elect to lower the playback quality. But Resolve lets you do that, however any expectation of better performance is not realistic, it is one of the penalties you pay when you edit in 4K.
My computer is a large desktop, in a Corsair case, with 800 Watt Corsair Power supply, the mainboard is an Asus X-79 Deluxe with an Intel Core i7 6 core processor, 32 GB of fast G.Skill DRAM, water cooling for the processor, a Radeon RX480 GPU card, 8 x very fast SSD drives and 2 x 6 GB conventional hard drives for archiving.
I cannot provide you with a link to the computer, I assembled from components, and owes much to the gaming community in its design. I use it only for video editing.
