I crashed my bird today and set up a repair ticket. My question is: The address to ship my Phantom to for repair is local. Can I deliver and pick up there?

Since you crashed it and it wouldn't be a warranty repair, you are free to take it wherever you like.
The US DJI repair center is in Carson, if that's where you are talking about then no you cannot drop off or pick up from there. Even if you live across the street they will email you a prepaid shipping label.

It's totally my fault and I didn't expect it to be under warranty. I will wait for the shipping label to be emailed.  Would you happen to have an idea of what it would cost to replace the shell and landing gear?

No I do not know, but it's not that expensive.
When the aircraft gets received in and get to the evaluation, then they will email you the charge to repair.
Again, sorry for the crash.

Do I need to include the battery to send my Phantom 4 in for service? It's mainly cosmetic. (landing gear and part of the shell is coming off)

If there's no damage to the battery then you do not need to send it in unless they specify they want you to.

Not too sure about the UK but luckily for me one of the repair centers is close by. I printed out the label, sent via UPS, it was received the next day. Received an email the next morning that it was received. The next day I received an email with an estimate and option to pay.
