I used this video to help me downgrade to v2.9.1 for android. I was wondering if that would fix the issues with the current version, and if there are any issue with this version? For example, I want to know if it will stop homepoint issues, and other.

Yes, it will stop the jumping homepoint which only turned up in 3.1.2.  It will also give back Google Maps rather than the inferior Here Maps.

But this version of downgrade is okay, and is there any issue with this version?

Also, it is okay to be in beginner mode or have limits?

I used 2.9.1 this weekend (just changed from 2.9.0). Did not have any issues.

Beginner mode only limits you to 30 meters turn that off and maybe set the distance let's say a hundred meters. I have mine completely turned off so it will lose signal before it stops. And I have altitudes set to 120 meters just shy a400 feet

Where do you get the APK file for 2.91

One place that I have used and am convinced is safe:  http://www.apkmirror.com/  Then search for DJI and select the APK file you want.

I think I used something like, that and the drone is really stable and responsive with it.

Help please v2.9.1 I have moved to this version but have lost all maps.

You lost google maps? Do you have the latest firmware? When I updated firware, I got maps.

Have you checked to ensure your Remote Control and Phantom 3 are connected?  When I down graded I lost the WI-FI connection and had to re establish it.

I have latest firmware Kevdrones a complete misery I  tried DJI go on my wife's Galaxy S4...I have S5

Hi JackA they are connected show GPS and all other functions the box for maps show with and my home location

I've always had google maps.  Learn to select what map settings you want.

interesting comment.

from the sounds of things it appears where you live may control the default maps you get.
in the US "HERE" maps are defaulted once you get to Go 3.10 and past

In DJI GO there is not an option on android to change maps that I have seen and would LOVE to LEARN

I do think they should bring Google Maps, when I used them the always load, Here maps does not load.
