Newby here.....go easy on me. Lol.   I was looking through and messing with settings in the go app, and it seems im limited to 500m distance ( Not altitude) here in canada.  I thought we would be under fcc and have the potential for 1000 m ? Or is there something else causing this issue?  ( drone in basement but showing safe to fly- no props of course).

To go maximum distance, you leave that parameter blank.
If you put any number in there, that will be your limit.

The only stupid questions are those unasked...

i was wondering that myself so i went on transport canadas website and they say 300 feet verticle!!! (90m)  they didnt say anything about horizaontal distance, except one should stay at least 500 feet (150) metres away from building people, blah blah blah.  Oh and if you want to fly within sight of an airport, you HAVE to call the control tower!
