I happened to find this while browing amazon

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seatriever-Waterbuoy-x/dp/B001AGZY4K/

I wondered if i could somehow mount it to the mavic when flying over water, so i can at least recover it to send for Care Refresh.
Does anyone run anything similar? perhaps someone could 3d print a holder for it, on top of the battery or something?

The specs say it can lift up to 1kg so it should be fine for lifting the mavic
Whatcya fink ?

Hi.

Yes it seemed to be a good investment if you want to fly over water. The rest of us flying over land is lacking a parachute to our DJI Mavic Pro.

He's using two on 4lbs of weight .. the spec is 1kg max for one, but i dont think 2 will be able to lift up twice the weight.

the mavic weight is about 750g so chances are it would be fine, i wouldnt mind seeing evidence of that though.

The getterback is 4x the price, but i guess it'd be worth it, if i lost my Mavic lol

Problem is that it does not inflate when the water pressure is to high due to the depth.
I believe 10ft is max.
