Hey

I have Mavic. It is a truly ingenious device! There is a small issue with the camera when I turn it downward.

Purple interference interrupts the footage, leaving it useless and unusable in places. The interferance is frequent and consistent.

The unit itself has not been damaged, in fact, it has only been used four times.

I have updated the firmware to the latest edition
I have calibrated the gimbal
I have watched countless videos on which settings are the most appropriate

Nothing seems to remove the issue.

The interference does not occur when the camera is in the forward position.

There would also appear to be some other noise in the shot:

I have contacted DJI, raising the same issues, but thought that it would be a good idea to share my woes and see if the community at large can help.

Bummer. My guess would be a bad ribbon cable to the camera. Hope you get it sorted soon and let us know how it gets resolved.

Does the purple shows up on the screen while filming?

Does it show when you paly from SD Card?

Does it show when you copy the movie to the computer and play it directly from the computer?

It shows in real time on the iPhone as soon as the camera is switched.

It's also there in post, just the same as it was when it was filmed.

Perhaps as a last resort, perform an IMU calibration as this seems to have fixed a number of camera issues, then do the gimbal calibration after.
