And here I am thinking about going back to the 3.x version to fly my Mavic safely despite GO 4 being what I am supposed to be using!

I wish someone could tell me how to do this on an iPhone. Charles proxy will not work on any of my macs and I don't have an old backup because my phone was replaced in December. I am on 3.1.1 the furthest I can go back but would love someone to tell me how to go back to 2.9.1 without using the above mentioned.

Hi, thanks for the info.  Almost lost my new P3S today, uncontrolled departure from RTH.  Can you recommend a safe site to download the older apks from?  You would hope DJI would supply them. A few places I have tried seem to have malware.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks but as I said before Charles Proxy does not work for me and it seems others too so that option is no good. I just can't get Charles Proxy to work on my mac they way they say it should after spending 2 weeks trying. Is there another way.

If you have the jumping homepoint problem on an Apple device, you'll be the first to.

So basically all I have to do with a android device is uninstall it ... And load the new one?
Does not the uninstall remove the cached info also ?

You can upload your info to DJI to save it.
Then uninstall v3.1.2 and install an earlier version of the app.

Does it not work because it won't launch, or because you are having trouble getting it to download an older version?

What are the issues with 3.0.0?  I am using it without any issues.

It makes me laugh that a regular user has to post this. DJI can't be bothered to respond directly and issue a formal notice.
I had a fly away on my first ever flight due to home point reset mid flight. DJI have my data, not responded in 3 weeks.

I will never be buying or recommending a DJI product ever again.

I did such a thing with the firmware and I left a post of my findings I updated and downgraded back and forth and I found 1.7.9 reduced my range 1.6.8 I got 3600 feet 179 800 180 300ft

Just Google DJI go 2.9.1 apk and they'll show you some sights

That would be great Horus if you can, I have downloaded you file from your dropbox but as it has your email address iTunes will not let me install it. Charles Proxy will not work on either of my two macs and keeps locking the internet and does not show the string threads like it should as shown in the video. Labriodes I am not getting home issues I just want to go back to 2.8.3 before Geo maps or 2.9.1 that everyone reckons is good. I have range issue and constant interference massages and I mean hundreds on a 3 minute flight with my current 3.1.1.

DJI GO now makes you update no matter what...  You cannot run old versions..

YIKES! This must be new today.  I was able to run the app on my Samsung S5 with 2.9.1 yesterday.  Today it pops up a box that says "Your app must be updated to the latest version" with 2 buttons to d/l from Store or website. It won't go away and the app won't run.  I really I don't like not having choices.  I don't want to leave 2.9.1.  If anybody can find a way, please post it here.

The new version is out now.  3.1.3

And the Go app is now requiring an update, even with auto update turned off, that's messed up. I even tried turning off the wifi on my tablet, and version 3.0.1 still is locked out. How do you spell Litchi.

Does the new version work? If I can't use the old app I think I will be seeking a refund for my drone. I can't afford to almost lose £500 worth of equipment again.

So let's hope they get all future updates right then or there will be a lot of unhappy users; I have only had my drone for a bout a month so I hope I am starting at a bad time and things will settle down now as it's rather worrying. The Follow Me just would not work on 3.1.2 so how did it get released without basic testing like this? It beggars belief
