Is there a proper way to shoot panoramic pictures, & do you need an app to process or sew the pics together?

There is a thread that's hiding somewhere on the Forum that had a good example on how to do this with the Go app, but the link eludes me at the moment. In sum, there are a couple ways to go about it. Some customers use 3rd party apps in order to have the drone a 'panorama' function, others use the Go app and manually line up each shot using the grid option. There are various photo editing softwares that are smart enough to take an array of pictures and automatically stitch them for you. The quality of the stitching would be based on the program you use.

Microsoft has a free program called "ICE". Image Composite Editor. It can stitch together your photos. Easy to do! Many others also out there. You can take photos by turning your phantom and capturing photos and then stitch them together. If you use Litchi, it will do it automatically for you. You can tell it how many pictures to take, how many rows, angle of your gimbal, etc....much easier IMO.

There are four main ways you can try for taking panorama photos.
1. Some smart phones has the ability to take panorama photos, like Samsung Galaxy.
2. Get a professional panorama camera, like Seitz 6X17 Digital Panoramic, Linhof Technorama 617S III, Horseman SW-617/Pro, etc.
3. Run photo stitching software, like Photoshop, Lightroom, Panorama Stitcher and more.4. Stitch photos basically with panorama app, like 360 Panorama, Panoramic Photos, etc.
