So i see they updated 3.1.2 for the home point issue in (581)
The fix is in 3.1.2 (582) so how or where can you see that this the version you have?

You would think, at the very least, they would change the version number so the forum wouldn't be flooded with questions like this.  

However, over the course of my life I have made the observation that whenever anyone begins a statement with: "you would think [insert blinding flash of the obvious THEY forgot]..."

But yeah, THEY didn't...

to see what virsion of the App your on
-open up the dji Go app
-tap on "ME"
-settings
-then at the very bottom you will see the version number with either 581 or the latest 582

I See it!  Kind of a faded out Gray print.  But I Do   See It      lol

I have uninstalled my previous 3.1.2 app and loaded the new one and am now on the 582 version

Hey while we are asking questions, does anyone have a better translation for "To ensure flight experience and safety when using Phantom 4 with all new hardware design, we launched DJI GO 4. Now we decide to stop our DJI GO support to phantom 4 since Feb. 2017"      Can anyone tell me WTF this is supposed to mean?   Yes  I do get it that maybe  the fixed version of 3.1.2   (without google map) may or may not work now....I uninstalled and put 2.9.1  (which actually shows my position in front of me and not a mile or away in some random direction.)

Would be really nice to know if anyone can take any update seriously or did they really drop the ball?   

One translation might be:  The standard DJI GO APP will see no further development for the DJI Phantom 4.  To take full advantage of the Phantom 4 please start using our new DJI GO 4 APP.  But then again...

yes ....or it could be    "our DJI GO 4 app sucked Balls, please do not use it."  I wish it was more easy and clear to tell us which software will work!

While we're  here, what does "ME" mean?    I'm sure it's something obvious!

DJI got the message:  as of 02/10/2017  the GO APP is version 3.1.3   What's New - Updated No-fly Zone database. - Fixed bugs and issues when setting the user’s current position as the Home Point.
