It is surprising to see new Mavic prop guards are sold out, they know how many Mavics are sold and there are simple plastic prop guards and they are sold out.

No matter what new product DJI launches its always a flippin train wreck!! You think they would learn after awhile??

Perhaps there has not been any stock of them yet. It might be in the store just to show you that you can order them already. In that case it'd be more transparent if they had been listed as "pre-order", but perhaps the way the store website works it was easier to put them online like this.

Especially considering that these are really simple plastic accessories with no moving parts, one of the fastest and easiest things for a Chinese manufacturer to pump out. My guess is that either it's just a placeholder cause something happened with the rollout, or at worst they just didn't get the amount they expected in the first shipment, and they'll show up in droves in about a week. The downside is, with DJI there's sort of no way way to tell. The online store is just kind of a "black box", no one knows exactly how it works and we just hope it's eventually correct, lol.

There'll be no shortage so. Nice one..

The generics don't look like they are connected to each other like the DJI guards appear to be. I'd think that having them connected would create a more stable platform against the wind, instead of having four free-floating guards resisting the wind separately.

Can only seeing them being of any use indoors and as I don't fly indoors, nonsense use to me.
