Can we have the noise reduction disable On The Mavic Video mode please

The Noice Reduction is painful to watch on the Video mode

Today when the Procressing power of the computer there is a lot more better noice reduction if it is done on computer

Set sharpening to +1 and NR is gone.

Thanks, Let me try to do that, But will still prefer it can be disable anytime

Setting sharpness is not really need a fix. DJI needs to address this issue. They bragged about 24 CPU cores, let's put those to proper use..

He asked how to get rid of NR and sharpness at +1 does exactly this. You'll never get such a good NR in the mavic like to one you can do with davinic resolve or with neat video.

last time i used +1 sharp the video came out so grainy and bad never again

Yeh but the older phantom series has much much better video quality  than the mavic.i refuse to use the mavic with its current quality issue. I have opened a ram case with Dji and I'm looking to get a refund...

A lot of people are having similar issues and calling it the water color effect…. Needs to be a serious Firmware update !   DJI is getting ready to tick a lot of people off including ME  ….

You think Dji cares if people are ticked off at their defective products. Look at their device and support history. Not a single product of theirs functions as advertised. From inspires, to osmos, to phantoms to now mavic. Bugs, defects, quality issues, software issues...

Add i bit Noise Reduction in post and your footage will be perfect. Look at all the fine details you have in the trees in your clip those will be mush with negative values.

so i shouldnt use any negative values then?

The noise reduction that i did not know about completely destroyed my vacation footage. Came home to look at mere porridge in the video.

Followed the trick with +1 sharpen here, but now my videos look like amateur video with excessive sharpening.

How can i get good footage from my Mavic when Dji is destroying it with bad firmware?

Count my vote in on this.
I'm currently on +1 sharpening but would prefer the firmware fix as I can't quite get noise reduction to work 100%. However + 1 gives best image quality by a mile.

I am also struggling with this.  As a long time DJI user (p1, p2, p3, p4 , i1, mavic, osmo) I have never had so many issues getting my footage to look right.  Im about to test +1 to see how I feel about it... its odd you can spend hours going youtube, forums seeing anywhere from -3 to 0 etc.

+1 on noise reduction removed

Looks like some is in, some out of focus. It's over sharp too but that can be fixed in post. The noise reduction does show up on mine with older firmware, but it happens in odd spots. Like everything is in focus and then one little spot looks like a redacted ufo or something.

I know if I don't focus though, it's really bad. Shoot everything at 0 and manual focus every time. Say around ~45 degrees on the gimbal, 170 feet up, do a manual and leave it if you don't care and want everything in general focus. The autofocus, not sure about because I can't use it. The second flight is not me flying, but you can see he never focused the whole time and it still came out good.

I'm sure that wasn't a problem with earlier firmwares, I will try to downgrade to check that out...

You have to use +1 on sharpness to get a decent picture, the NR algorithm is really bad. I hope dji will add an option to turn it of but i doubt they
will listen to the customers. I hope there will be another brand that will build a descent drone so there will be some competition cause the other
drones on the marked are really mediocre at is best.

Good news, new DJI Mavic update (.1000) that fixing this problem.

What do you have the sharpening setting to now then?
It would also be good if it was a separate setting in DJI GO app.

everyone will find a slightly differant method to making it work for them..

personally i shoot in C4K, D-cinelike,  profile settings:   -1 | 0 | +1  while using an ND8 PL filter
if you shoot in any 4K settings you will most definatly need to post proccess... period.  i suggest if you want 4K use C4K mode (top 4K option) either use D-log or D-cinelike asnd use -1|0|+1 with fav filter. and in post proccess use a LUT (look up table) and apply a very small amount of noise reduction..

if your not in the mood to post proccess, go for 24fps 2.7K, D-cinelike +1|0|+1 and use fav filter again...

Has this issue been solved. I simply want no sharpening or noise reduction on the mavic. Please help!

You can downgrade the firmware to what ever version you heart desires, I don’t have these issues on .700?
