Bought my Ronin 3 months ago. Never had a problem and was pretty good at operating it. Today, out of the blue, as soon as i pressed the start button at the battery, smoke started to come out off the area where the battery connects to the Ronin. The wire that is exposed below the battery got realy hot as well as the motors... of course i turned it off as soon as the smoke started. Anyone had this problem? I'm sure I'll have to send it for service but the only problem is that I'm in Brazil and there's no DJI service in South America.

You didn't record it with a cell phone?

Hi, luizhmax, did you figure this one out?

Some students here at our school tried connecting both the Teradek Clip encoder in addition to a wireless follow focus system to the P-tap outs. Guessing that they've drawn too much power (> 3.0 A), but not sure, as I don't have the external equipment at hand at the moment.

Any tips would be helpful, cheers!
