Ive seen on facebook that after calling dji regarding loose fitting p4 batteries, somebody has been told by dji customer care that they dont recommend the p4 batteries be used in p4p due to issues with the physical size. Can someone from dji clarify the position that dji have on p4 batteries in p4p. Is there a physical difference?

I have one P4 batt, and it fits exactly like the three other P4P batts I have.

Agree, although the new high-capacity battery definitely has a revised cap (the screws now on the side are the most obvious indicator). As a result, it is much snugger in the P4P that the P4 batteries are.

There are maaaaany threads here on this.

Improtant thing is keep an eye on the battery level and make sure they are really snug.

I have 2x P4 batteries and 1x P4P battery. I use all pretty much daily as im addicted to flying and loving it. Ive had no issues nor have they caused me any concern

I bought my phantom 4 pro off of amazon as a package with extra battery. When I opened it, the extra battery turned out to be for phantom 4. So I asked DJI they advised not to use phantom 4 batteries with the P4P. Since then I've tried not to use the 1 P4 battery.

My question is dji just attempting to make more sales saying not to use the lower capacity battery or
Is there a real reason not to use it in your P4P?

That's similar to what I read, Dji actually advising not to use them..
