Hello all.
I have My Mavic since November 16, no falls, never had any issue with the Drone.

But quite often (one out of 3 flights) I have a very specifc issue... Having center and left side very sharp and focused, but right side completely out of focus.

When taking pictures it also happens sometimes... but in movies is really commom.

Something very interesting is that when I switch to portrait mode, the issue disapears.


I´m a very advanced Drone Pilot with over 400 flights logged on DJI Go, have P3P, P3A, Inspire X5, S900 and so on...

I tried auto focus, manual focus, Focus Peak, lenses are clean, gimball and drone calibrated... So I believe the issue is something harder to figure out.

Search around here...  Seems like a somewhat common issue. I RMA'd mine for the exact same issue.

did that fix the issue?  I ask as I just got mine back from RMA for another camera issue.  I didn't have the focus issue b4, but now I do.

Hello and sorry you are having trouble. I just sent my Mavic Pro back to the DJI repair chop for the exact same thing. Nothing I could do to overcome the lower right side of the video or photos. It would not sharpen up at all (very soft or even fuzzy)

You will need to return it for repair or replacement

yes,....send email to dji@support.com...and start from there....once they verify the issue, they will start give you case number and arrange for collection
It should have been reported long while back, mine reported as DOA (dead on arrival) within 15 days ....
Those issues are so common, and DJI should replace yours too

Similar problem here...

Another example of blurry top left quadrant of the video. Watch it briefly come into focus(notice the red building) and then back to out of focus. The rest of the three quadrants of the screen seem to have almost perfect focus. This test was done with the latest firmware .400. All resets done, all default settings for the camera, NTSC 0.0.0

I just solved my issue by purchasing a camera that survived of another Mavic crash... I´ts a very small piece and easily changeable
