Hello - using DJI Go 4 App.  I have a Mavic.  Using an Iphone 6 plus. Aircraft, controller and App are all upgraded to the latest version.  Tried reinstalling firmware and app.  Yet - in "HD" I have no option to change my frequency from 2.4 to 5.8 ghz.  Any ideas?  I tried contacting tech support - but that didn't get me anywhere.

I think transmission frequency related to hardware and I dont think you can change if yourself.

RC only works in the 2.4 GHz bands. If controlling Mavic over wifi (range about 80m ?) then it uses 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi frequencies.

The Phantom 4 Pro RC uses 2.4 & 5.8 GHz bands, the Mavic doesn't:-

Remote Controller
Operating Frequency
2.400 - 2.483 GHz and 5.725 - 5.825 GHz
Max Transmission Distance
2.400 - 2.483 GHz (Unobstructed, free of interference)
FCC: 4.3 mi (7 km)
CE: 2.2 mi (3.5 km)
SRRC: 2.5 mi (4 km)
5.725 - 5.825 GHz (Unobstructed, free of interference)
FCC: 4.3 mi (7 km)
CE: 1.2 mi (2 km)
SRRC: 3.1 mi (5 km)

Hah!  Thank you!!! I spent like 4 hours trying to figure this out.  Was on the chat line with DJI Tech support several times.  For some reason, I thought the Mavic was dual frequency like Phantom 4 Pro.  You would have thought that DJI Tech support would have just said "Mavic - no go on dual frequency!"  Geez - well thanks!

There's not much need usually to manually select channels, the auto select does a good job.  If you need or want to manually select channels on the P4 then set the location of your display device to U.S (there are others as well). Then when you look at the channel display option in DJI Go 4 you will then be able to select 'custom' mode, which allows you to pick a channel between 13 and 21 in the 2.4GHz bands.

I did that. Now I can switch between different channels but there is no option to change frequency. I want to set to 5GHZ because my drone keeps showing strong wireless interference and can't fly near my home.
Thanks for your reply

There is no 5GHz available on the P4, if getting reports of interference then try switching your display device to 'airplane' mode (i.e. disables its 2.4GHz wifi signal). It might also be that the App' is over reporting the interference.

Range increased in airplane mode but  still getting "strong wireless interference" at 6000-7000 feet then I should return back or it will disconnects if ignored even in free areas!!!

Here you have a link showing how to force your Mavic Pro to use the 2.43GHz and 2.57GHz requencies too.
And how to boost its power.
