Was flying too low with trees around and you guessed it, hit one.  Everything seems to be ok except the gimbal is stuck upside down, with the dji at the top of the camera.  Anyone know how I can flip this sucker around?

Yep except for the image on my tablet is upside down.  I was able to rotate the camera and get it right side up but now when I power it on it loses its mind

I got the camera rotated around.  The feed to my tablet is fine, I can take pics and video, etc.  But the camera/gimbal can't get to the correct position when I fire it up.  It's kind of setting at an angle if that makes sense, sits there and clicks, etc.  Also, the arm that attaches to the camera gets very hot after about 2 minutes of the drone being turned on.

Tried, nothin'.  I'm gonna keep playing around with it but I'm pretty sure a trip to the repair shop is in the near future

Can you see any of the wires, do you even have any type of connection to the gimbal?

Try KevDrones' advice and see if that helps, worse case, you would need to send your unit in to DJI for service.

Hi, firstly I would be checking all the ribbon cable orientation and the connections and condition of the cables. A few screws and covers may have to be removed to do this. Worth a try.

I can see the ribbon leading to the camera and the set of 8 gray wires and 1 black wire running into the top of the gimbal 'stabalizer' I'll call it

Look on youtube for gimbal repair or replacement, but dont cut or remove wires just check they are tight. Or you could go to the repair shop, they will propably fix it in no time.

You could try replacing the ribbon cable, but there's most likely some actual damage to the tilt motor if that doesn't help.

Kind of adds a little salt to the wound, doesn't it?

If you take the covers off, you may find that the set screw for the shaft position has slipped out.  That would explain the hot arm as well.  Trying constantly to position the camera with no result.
